After graduating high school, he enrolled in community college to pursue his dream. To afford classes and rent he worked full-time as a shipping and receiving clerk at a metal finishing facility. He felt overwhelmed juggling work and school and decided to drop out. Bryan knew he wanted to go back to school after saving enough money. A friend told him about Hope Builders around the time he found out his girlfriend was pregnant. Bryan felt Hope Builders’ short and intensive program designed to fast-track young adults into employment was his best option since he’d be co-enrolled at Santa Ana College. He applied and was accepted in its Information Technology training academy.
After he successfully completed training, Hope Builders linked Bryan to a paid internship with SACA Technologies. He thrived and his internship was extended due to COVID-19. In mid-July Bryan accepted full-time employment with SACA Technologies and now makes $16 per hour.
